Thread: Ie To Add A Pop-up Blocker

1. #1
Microsoft plans to add pop-up blocking features to Internet Explorer next year as part of its Service Pack 2 update for Windows XP, a move that would go far toward stamping out the Web advertisements.
Finally IE is going to add a feature that is worth while! Go here for the full article and details. If anyone knows any other news about IE, post it here. I know that many people on this forum use Netscape, Mozilla, MyIE2, or Opera which already includes a pop-up blocker, but I still use IE and I thought the people who use it (or don't) might be interested.

5 bucks says it is shit, and you have to reg edit to turn it off.

I would rather use the one that I have.

The only thing is that it is bad for webmasters. The vast majority of users use IE still (i am one of them) and once IE has a pop-up blocker, webmasters are going to get no revenue from their ads because they will probably be all blocked.

Instead of a popup blocker, how about micro$oft implementing the feature to UNINSTALL Internet Exploiter?!
