Who Knows Alot About 3d Studio Max

I currently have 3ds Max version 5. I'm thinking about setting up a render farm, and am following this tutorial here: 3dkingdom.org
I don't need help setting up the render farm, but i'm wondering about this "Brazil" version that keeps being mentioned. What is the Brazil Renderer? Is it better than the standard renderer? Could I already have this Brazil Renderer (how can i check)?

I dont think there is much difference between the standerd and brazil versions.
