just a bunch of dumbass kids bored and looking for attention. they feel powerless so they fuck with people. im glad they took out sony, but its not like anything they have done has really been for a reason other than to make themselves feel special when they arent.

If they know what they're doing ( and we'll see that sometime soon ) their anonymity won't be compromised. But since they do have an attitude of kids and they probably are, that scenario is possible.

Surely these hackers use proxy to anonymize there goings on? If not, they don't know what the fuck they are doing. It would the equivalent to a burglar breaking into a house then turning the lights on.
