i already have the no cd patch.
i have reinstalled direct X
the patch that i need means that i will have to insert the 'play' cd.
but this is kinda stoopid SINCE I HAVE!!! the NOCD patch already in the GTA VC directory. Either way i have a problem.
I have an idea.
I have the 2 installation CD's for GTA VC but i need the nocd patch to play...BUT!!!
is there a way i can fool my computer into thinking that the cd is in there???

many people have peoblem with the crack given in the cd use above one and ull be fine and " copy paste" the crack in the folder do not move it using xp "move to"

Burn your house down. That should fix the problem.
"Why?" You ask?
Well its very simple. Your house is burned down, you get insurance, you buy a brand new Alien Ware, you BUY vice city, install, and there ya go!

To be honest, I didn't read most of the replys above. So if it hasn't been said already, just try reinstalling. Then DON'T install any crack. Then download the graphic fix. Then go to Megagames and find a no-cd crack for "vice city 1.1"
Put it in the directory, and see what happens. The best advice i can give you...

what happens is that the graphics fix patch replaces the GTA.exe file.
also the no cd patch replaces the GTA.exe file.
in other words i cant have them both
theres no hope
