Instructions
-
- 1 Buy a SATA card from an online site such as Newegg.com, or at a retailer like Best Buy. A SATA card will use a PCI slot in the computer's motherboard.
- 2 Shut down the computer, and unplug it. Place it on a flat surface, such as a table, for easier access.
- 3 Remove the side panel of the computer case with a screwdriver.
- 4 Locate a PCI slot that can be used for the SATA card. Insert the card into the slot, and secure it by tightening the screw on the faceplate cover.
- 5 Attach the data cable from the SATA hard drive to the adapter card. Connect one end of the cable to the hard drive and the other to the SATA card.
- 6 Replace the side panel, and tighten the screws. Plug in the computer, and start it up.
- 7 Wait for the system to recognize the new SATA card and hard drive. The system will automatically install the software drivers that are needed for the new components.

You might need to run the iso file through abgx and burn with imgburn. After I flashed the DG-16D4S recently everything was fine with the flash but I didn't use abgx and got an error although I don't recall the tray opening. Did you disable the drivers for the via card like it says in the JungleFlasher guide?
