You can close you thread if you want to avoid spam and ask for PM. Then bump it every 12 hours or so.

I thought trade threads now had to remain open until completed/abandoned?
Hypothetically if someone is allowed to selectively open/close trade threads then it basically negates the "only 3 active threads" rule.

When the trade is completed / abandoned, the thread must be closed.

We removed the part about keeping threads open 6 months ago. It was in the announcement before. Regarding the limit of 3 active threads, still fairly easy to spot them, threads recently bumped or not closed are both considered active and count as 1.
