what kinda search page? (very important)
have you manually cleaned out all cookies & temp internet files?
    have you reset web settings?
I am just a worthless liar. I am just an imbecile.
I will only complicate you. Trust in me and fall as well.
I will find a center in you. I will chew it up and leave.
I will work to elevate you just enough to bring you down.

Have you turned off the address bar search feature?

With IE open, click the Tools menu, then Internet Options and click the Advanced tab. Scroll about two thirds of the way down.
if your font size is this small i'll add you to my ignore list because you're wasting my time, OK?

Have you tried Spybot Search & Destroy?
It usually detects stuff that Adaware doesn't.

Your best bet is to get Hi-Jack This. Run a scan. Then post your log at a forum that reads them and tell you what to delete.I'll leave you the links http://mjc1.com/mirror/hjt/
