Thread: XSNews IPv6

  1. #1
Hey guys. It's been a while since I used .nzbs and I remember that I used to use XSNews' free IPv6 server. It always worked well with pretty nice speeds. However, after I set it up today I found that the speeds are very slow (like 202 b/s or 0 b/s).

Does anyone else still use this server? How does it work for you guys?

    Thanks!

    What's the IPv6 brokering service you're using ? Stay away from gogo6.

Works! With gogo6 I have never passed 600Kb/s and it usually stuck around 200Kb/s. Never thought the ipv6tunnel was the problem. Now it maximizes my connection! Thanks thanks thanks

I'd recommend using sixxs.net with an AYIYA tunnel. It will work behind NAT (double, triple, etc), it won't require you to configure your firewall at all, and your IP endpoint will be updated automatically.

Speeds are pretty good except for the OCCIAD pops in the United States.

It's just too bad XSnews doesn't allow new registrations anymore.

    That's not a problem, fortunately.
