Oh yeah I love TV so much more than cinema as well. I find 20-40 minutes are much more enjoyable to take in than 120. GF doesn't consider that part of 'going out' thoughI usually watch some comedy while eating dinner

I don't even know if attention span is fully my problem, cause once I start a movie I'll get sucked in and normally enjoy it thoroughly. But the idea of sitting through 2 hours of watching media is almost painful, so I rarely watch movies alone or suggest watching them with someone.
edit: I realize this thinking makes absolutely no sense but whatever, I don't really care that I'm missing out on endless media that I would probably enjoy if I cared enough to care.

That's surprisingly insightful, but maybe I just enjoy movies and I enjoy what I actually do in my spare time more. With or without 2 hours of visual escapism, life can be a drag.
