Thread: Captain America: First Avenger (2011): Opens First to $65.8 million!

Captain America is cool but Spiderman is way cooler. The only reason i like Captain America is due to his involvement in WW2. I like all the movies and games that are related to these times

Oh yeah I love TV so much more than cinema as well. I find 20-40 minutes are much more enjoyable to take in than 120. GF doesn't consider that part of 'going out' though I usually watch some comedy while eating dinner

I'll leave the softball "she said" comment for those who enjoy lower hanging fruit, but would recommend you upgrade your attention span.
I've seen longer capacity spans quite reasonably priced at Costco (and install is less painful than you might think...).

I don't even know if attention span is fully my problem, cause once I start a movie I'll get sucked in and normally enjoy it thoroughly. But the idea of sitting through 2 hours of watching media is almost painful, so I rarely watch movies alone or suggest watching them with someone.

edit: I realize this thinking makes absolutely no sense but whatever, I don't really care that I'm missing out on endless media that I would probably enjoy if I cared enough to care.

Most experts agree that sentences should have a logical connection.
In your first you claim immersion in the movie experience, in the second you say the opposite.
You are either painfully multifaceted, under the influence of drugs or dumbstruck by the realization that ultimately we are all alone and a few hours of artificial community with a temporary group of peers is better than the wretched loneliness of a meaningless life.

    Or you're twelve.

That's surprisingly insightful, but maybe I just enjoy movies and I enjoy what I actually do in my spare time more. With or without 2 hours of visual escapism, life can be a drag.
