    So, it is Ramadan again.
It may be disrespectful but I always find Ramadan fasting as a bit of a cheat as practitioners can eat before dawn and also at night. So it is only a requirement that they not eat during the day.

Why pay attention to what silly religious nutjobs do like Ramadan and Lent, Ritz crackers and Carlo Rossi?

Since this is in Serious Chat, let's explore the responsibilities of the Church (in iDoll's example, starving Muslim followers), AND the responsibilities of other community members (again, speaking as a community of religious followers).

Here we have a situation where the "haves" of the community, and the Muslim Church have A LOT. Not to say that even the majority of Muslims are wealthy, but there are VAST wealths in that community.

So, who should be responsible for seeing these starving refugees through this drought? Should the Church be responsible for the well-being among their followers? Is it God's will that these people starve- regardless of their faith? Is there ANY true value of a Church that allows such suffering to go on among their followers?

iDoll's example showed Muslims, but this is FAR from a Muslim-only issue. The Catholic Church, Christians, etc., etc. ALL are aware of the problems. Where are the "good works" that are supposed to come from being a "divine follower"? It seems that it is far easier to kill in the name of God than it is to heal, and feed in His name.

global charity is comes from Muslims not church..
Zakat...all Muslim who are eligible for Zakat, must give 2.5% of their total wealth every year....It's one of the five pillars of Islam & a Muslim who deny it, is not counted as Muslim....Of course this makes Muslims the most charitable community...

apart from being extremist and terrorist Moslems
This is very sad...may be saddest of all...using a religion's name for terrorism or killing....terrorists use the word jihad which they don't understand what jihad truly means....
These terrorists don't care about "The Greater Jihad" & they are saying they are doing Jihad for Islam & Muslims (What type of losers!!!)....

Many people think Ramadan is kind of a festival month....I know people won't go through Qur'an or hadith, so u can visit Wikipedia to know (may be)5% about it...

We don't know clearly about other religion, and without knowing properly say whatever comes in mind...This is really a bad habit...people who don't have self-esteem do this type work and hurt others feelings.....

Sadly for millions of of the World's Muslims when then fast isn't really an option.
