Looks like these guys are the same people that run Blocknews. They are slightly cheaper than Astraweb, my current provider, if I do 3 months at a time. Anyone with them and could tell me their track record with DMCA take downs, speed, completion, ect.? They apparently don't offer trial accounts.

I've used the block accounts. I've never noticed any problems with DMCA takedowns. Most people use blocknews to get around that anyways. Speed is on par with Astraweb/Giganews for me.

speed is slow on older files.. very slow.. about 3+ MB max. though sometimes it gets better on different servers but its inconsistent

if you have a plan <50mbit then you will be OK.
completion is good, doesnt have GN\HW dmca prob;ems ATM

I've had a lot of posting errors on that service over the last year or so. Posted articles would just vanish without a trace. Maybe it was just me, i don't know.

I suspect that the server capacity was often maxed-out during 2010, but 2011 seemed to be much improved speed-wise.
