The biggest difference between movie industry pirating and users pirating is movie industry makes money out of it. It seems to be always win-win for them until we hit a critical point of being tired of their shit... which doesn't seem that close at this point.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 What has been done will be done again. There is nothing new under the sun.

My advice to Mr. Quirk is to get over it unless he intends to also sue every author back to the dawn of time.

Probably nobody but me would know or care that is Olympic silver medalist Nelson Vails as the courier.
Now go and watch Priest on HD.
    Respect my lack of authority.

    Spoiler: Show

"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music"

You're a complete idiot. Novelty is one of the unique attributes of the human language. Unprecedented sentences, paragraphs and stories can be created at will. Just as art and music can. This is about laziness, hypocrisy, legality and compensation. Plus you lost your argument quoting the fucking Bible and alluding to the travesty that is Priest.

Thank you for responding in a similar manner as I was about to.... I think his argument was supposed to be that there are very few unique storylines, and every movie follows a "done before" storlyine...such as, the main character faces a problem and overcomes it.... This is EVERY movie ever made (well, with the exception of Blair Witch and porn movies)! Thus, now I can sue Hollywood because I just said this...for the first time ever, I'm sure!! As was mine just now, his point was made in a most retarded manner. It is the execution and adaptation of these storylines that make a movie itself unique. In the case of Mr. Quirk, he was obviously plagiarized as the legal motion so obviously reflects. Here's to him, hoping he wins, but it will cost him a lot of money - and hopefully Hollywood will reimburse him for that when they lose!

Not complete if I were a complete one I'd probably make a statement like "novelty is one of the unique attributes of the human language" Also unsurprisingly you totally misunderstood my point in referencing Priest.
I would probably add here" in terms of the Bible show some respect for other people's religious beliefs even if you don't share them yourself " but I'm going to just extrapolate based on your post and assume reasonable isn't in your area code.

You didn't make it through that rant without contradicting yourself.
Also and more to the point there have been many cases where plagiarism seemed obvious yet a court ruled otherwise.May he suggest in manner retarded or otherwise that you maybe know all the details first before concluding you're right.
