It is really easy to exceed that limit I assume. I used 2.5gb downstream on my 256k ADSL connection yesterday. I cant even imagine the touble that would be causing if you had a 1megabit line.

Can anybody recommend a good broadband service here in the UK which does not have this limit and is 1MBit and around same price ish... (£34.99)

Ive had no trouble with my current provider - Blueyonder, they do 512k and 1M Connections at competetive rates...

I get this on BT Broadband as well, I didn't think it would be a problem but it is, it's 12 noon and I have already used my 1GB limit.

EDIT: At least they're going about it the right way, if you go over 3 - 4 times in a 14 day period, BT fuck you in the ass as soon as you go over once.
