    As the title suggests.....

I'm not a big gamer, but now and then I have an urge for the buzz.

I really enjoyed the Zelda series, that kind of game is my thing. My interests have emphasis on the adventure, riddle-solving, levels, finding and using 'stuff' to solve the game, etc. Super cutsey-looking isn't my thing - zelda pushed it for me; but if the game play is great I can handle cherubs Games heavy on 1st-person shooter (sorry guys) bore me to death.

    Recommendations are gratefully appreciated

I can't think of any others with the Zelda formula besides Okami right now(games like Metroid and even Mario have a lot of wandering around and discovering stuff like Zelda games do). If I do then I'll post back.

Okami is the shit though(the characters are so funny). One thing, since you're downloading it you must be soft modded. And since the devs mapped some of the controls to motion(like attacking and sprinting I believe they were), they don't feel very good. So I would use a USB loader like Config USB and download the control cheats for it, you can do this right in Config USB. This cheat maps these motion controls to button presses, and the game is much more enjoyable this way.

Oh, Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure is a great point and click adventure. It's a great game and probably along the lines of what you're after.
