bassist has a point, there used to be a time where posting regularly on fst actually did more harm than good if you were looking to join the more secretive communities

Strange simply posting on a forum was looked down on especially since being a total fucking tool seemed not to have any effect on people being allowed to join these places.

It all depends how anal and secretive you are, and whether once you are invited you have the correct air of arrogance and smugness about you, not whether you are a card carrying douchebag or not. So posting on a forum breaks the 'secret' rule, and the lurking leetzors inhabitants of said secret communities have a shit fit when anything is mentioned about their private club.

Wonder how many peeps signed up to apply for this one only to be disappointed and feel cheated by the forum rules, which prohibits em from sending PMs to the OP (till certain conditions are met). Regardless, parts of the thread made up for a good read.
