Xbox 360 Reset Glitch

I believe you all must of heard of the new reset glitch which basically allows you to do a jtag mod on any xbox( except fallcon and xenon ) , no matter the dashboard version . I've read about it on a couple of websites and from the looks of it you gotta be a tech-guy in order to do it .
My question is has anyone of you tried to do it ?

I'm asking this because I've noticed that the new Driver -San Francisco is out and it's jtag only because the game is ...well here's what Complex said :

readable with any of the common rip drives until new rip fw/tools arrive

So..... as I understand it , until you have a LT+ 2.0 or a Jtag ... you can't play any games with XGD3 , right ?
