Now motherboard manufacturers really need to get up off their asses and come up with a way to speed up POST.
That's about 33% of the time spent starting up my win7 with an SSD.

    For those interested: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/archive/2....aspx#10208312 Test client is a EliteBook 8640p (Intel® Core™ i7-620M, 8GB, 160GB SSD).

    Well done Microsoft~!!!!11!1

Hell, I bet even Linux distros formatted on ext4 using a SSD can bootup under 10seconds

    edit: I was right: http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/ubuntu...n-175-seconds/

When I was using ubuntu (11.04) it booted in around the same amount of time as win7.

From what I've read there claiming similar speeds fro non SSD boots. I'm not at all surprised they used SSD in this video but it's very misleading. Cheers for that extra info Tesco
