Probably N00b-esque questions on FileSharingTalk's Subscription Button

How do I effectively make use of it? I've subscribed to a few shows but from what I can see it only allows me to follow any new activity on that particular NZB post. Is there a way to subscribe to say a specific TV series, rather than searching for it after it's posted? I feel as though I may be missing some simple and powerful secret here

The NZB posts are basically threads, so subscribing to one will only give you updates to that particular episode. What you're talking about is a good idea though.

I wish I knew more about RSS feeds but, I think you can use that button on the main NZB Index to give you feeds to new episodes.

I'll have to look into it - maybe there's a way I can set up an alert to catch certain phrases etc as they get posted. Thanks for the idea.
