Going out on a limb here but without reading the article I'm betting that it has something to do with space and monsters and a lot of running around in the dark shooting at stuff.
Respect my lack of authority.
Unfortunately its by EA and I will not buy games for the PC that require a constant internet connection no matter how good they are. Even Steam lets me play offline once the game is verified. I do notwish to be and will never be a multiplayer online gamer, stricktly single player FPS for me.
