Most 'broadband' connections (be they dual ISDN, DSL, or cablemodem lines) have only 128kilobits/sec (kbps) upload speed. That's 16KiloBytes/sec (KB/sec) upload speed theoretical MAX -- actual useable upload speeds in Kazaa varies, but is usually only 12-14KB/sec.

Make sure to set Kazaa's upload bandwidth limit to 128kilobits/sec if you never see it uploading faster than 16KB/sec (in TOTAL) to people. By giving Kazaa a limit, it won't be constantly overloading your connection as badly.

And disable "optimal bandwidth while idle" -- it's seriously BROKEN!

That isn't true, 576 kbps is 72 kB/s, not 56
If you don't believe that, go here (than click the bits & bytes link on the left and pick bits for the input) and convert it youself

I read your original post and saw you said with little b, but the original poster was talking about big b, casue he got the 50 kb/s from Kazaa and like i said, Kazaa really means kB/s, is just a bug...

but oh well, his question was answered, so that's all that matters, i guess..
