With 3 HD TV's in my home and a media streamer, I only get non HD when there is not an HD choice. It is sad that you apparently think most people are bad or all people are sheep. At one time your 90+ percent statement was true. Get with the times. HD is much more widespread, prevalent, and wanted and I am not sure why I am having to explain this to you as I know you are not stupid. Your 90+ percent is realistically more like 10-20% (my mindset comes from the USA where HD is prevalent). I am sure this last statement could be argued, but anyways...
