His last words alive was:"They´ll love the 4S, I bet my life on it!"True story.
Rest in Peace .... but my opinion about apple wil not change, still hate it !!!
The disappointment of the new iFail S is what finished him off! The good news is that there's an app for finding a funeral service, so that's alright then. His death came a day after Apple unveiled the new iPhone 4S at its headquarters in California.

Everything is brought to you by Fjohürs Lykkewe.
Yeah apparently the guy was a d-bag much of his life. He was never the primary developer of the material he was advertising, he was a marketing genius. He took a lot of credit for what others did. He was fired from apple, people, don't forget. He was brought back since his name was always associated with apple products and made a good face for the company. Not to say I knew him personally, but this is what history has written.

I had to google some of this as you may agree these are quite strong words and most of what I can find agrees with you. It seems that a British man named Kane Kramer was the original inventor of the iPod and this was only admitted after/during a court case in 2008. Steve's only involvement was that he oversaw the project and was not actually directly involved with engineering. (source: http://ipod.about.com/od/understandi...ented-ipod.htm)
