Got a Netgear WPN824N router and am able to Telnet into it, finally. I have very liittle knowledge of Linux and the commands and such. Anyway I tried adding a static ARP entry using the arp command like this

    arp -i br0 192.168.1.x 00:00:00:00:00:00

However that didn't work. I am trying to get WOL to work over WAN and read that this was the only way to do it.

I was reading that I should add it to the ect/ethers file but I don't see that file nor know how to add it. Here is what is in that dir.

    HTML Code:
    ath hotplug.d preinit
    ath.orig hotplug2-init.rules preinit.arch
    banner icon.ico profile
    config init.d protocols
    crontabs inittab rc.common
    dnsmasq.conf ipkg.conf rc.d
    email large.ico resolv.conf
    ethertypes lld2d.conf shells
    functions.sh modules.d sysctl.conf
    group mtab wpa2
    hostapd.conf passwd wpa2.orig
    hosts ppp
