I have an "Epson Perfection 1260 Photo" scanner with the negative adaptor. My problem is; when I attempt to scan negs that are a bit underexposed, the top and bottom of the photo are severely cut off leaving just a thin strip of photo that's readable horizontally down the middle. I realize that I can just go to a photomat and have them done but I have a sh*tload of old negs to scan and why pay a professional to do it if I have all the equipment right here to produce my own photos at a fraction of the cost ? The Epson support website is not https// and requires a ton of personal and technical info to be submitted. Does anyone here have any experience with scanning negs ?
Thanks in advance,
Riddler.
