Well, with *DSL you can get up to 23Mbit duplex currently, this however is HEAVILY dependant on how far away from the station you are. The worst you get with this connection is 8M/1M, I would have gotten around 15M/15M, but as I already have 10M/10M and don&#39;t use my phone at all (don&#39;t have to pay the phone company) I stick with this connection (cheap as well, &#036;26/mo)

btw, this dsl conn costs about the same as my ethernet here.

The UL limit in Kazaa can&#39;t be set by KB. It&#39;s set by Kb. I&#39;m pretty sure he means 88 Kb/s.

Hi all, Im running on cable. Just hit the Bandwidthplace link and did the free test. Would 3.4 mps be considered fast? B) I tried the dsl thing, they tried to guarantee the same speed at the same price. Best I ever got out of dsl was 870kps

IS t1 FASTER AND ALSO is it AVAILBILE ANYWHERE? I would like to know? Also is it cheaper than cable? Thnx becuz I cant get DSL or CABLE where I live.

T1 is about as available as cable and DSL, but it is VERY expensive. Satellite is your best bet if you can&#39;t get DSL or cable.
