Thread: Cant Connect To Mysql At Localhost

    I got mysql installed, and now i got an error saying "cant conenct to mysql server at localhost" whats going on, how can I remove my sql completely and try again?

    do u have any firewall blocking
    mysql listen to port 3306 by default

    Are you sure you configured mysql right? You went through each configuration step?

    It should connect to localhost, provided you are trying to connect from localhost. If your using a different machine to connect or a proxy then it wont connect.

    What are you using? Mysql control center or phpmysqladmin?
