Looking For A Song Or 2

Hi! I am looking for an older song back in the 80's....The voice could almost sound like what's his name from savage garden. the lyric stuck in my head is "she's got the looks" and maybe "la-la-la-la" I believe it was the rock/pop genre, thats all i can think of now for that.
Also I am looking for a good chic song, preferably nothing new and over heard but yet, a top 40 at one time. Something to do with making a mistake, and forgiving a mistake, the bryan adams song "please forgive me" comes to mind, but anything else anyone can suggest would be appreciated...thanks

As for the second one, Say you met someone special...and you did something that you did not think would upset them, but it did. You didn't think it would, why? because you are human, us humans make some bad choices. Although it would be much easier just to ditch her.....lol. I choose not to take that route because I need to focus on being the right kind of person instead of finding the right kind of person...comprende? LOL. But yet at the same time not get desperate

.......it may be more emotion than your looking for though.
Its about wanting to be with that person so much, you dream about them and would do anything for them.
