Hmmm, this whole fred is flying in the face of one of my longest held beliefs: that inside every man, irrespective of his hair colour, there's a ginger waiting to come out. I haven't seen ONE ginger beard yet.

That doesn't really bother me. There isn't too much grey in my hair, and my hairline hasn't been receding too bad. What the heck- I'm 40, and happily married with kids. I still get a few hair flips, and smiles from pretty girls. Those always make me feel young- even though most of those smiles are likely for being a good dad, and husband rather than being a hunk. They still count.

The lower half of your face doesn't look 40, that's why it's noteworthy. Going grey in itself isn't unattractive. Some women even prefer it.
Imo when women are younger they think a man who spends time with his kids is cute. After that, even if they're not thinking of wanting kids consciously, it kinda changes to thinking of him as good quality stock. Neither particularly sexual, but hey, it's nice to be appreciated.
