    Sale's from December 19th thru January 1st.

On top of that they've brought back the "Get an achievement; Get a ticket" in The Great Gift Pile!

With that each ticket will go toward discounts, free games and so forth.

    What you gonna buy?

I'm considering Portal 2 and maybe Orcs Must Die.

First of all, thank fuck for youse.

I wouldn't have caught Portal 2 in-time for the sale if it weren't for this thread.

Second, Amneisa The Dark Descent at $5 is a steal. Highly recommended over Orcs Must Die.

And now I'm $120 poorer. Fuck you OP. <3

Trick is only buy the games for the sale of the day offers. Most likely a game will be on sale for 50% off one day just to go on sale for 75% off the next.

Just watched a review and while it did look promising I'm just not a fan of NOT killing the monsters. While Resident Evil (horrible comparison, but this came to mind) has you killing them having to conserve my ammo ruined the game for me. I stopped after I beat RE3. I'll pass on Amnesia.

WoW, already over $100.. and there's still 3 more days of sales left. I don't mind spending money on games especially on awesome sale deals like these. Devs need my monies to make more great stuff for me!

I got it on the Thanksgiving sales and just installed it so I could get today's achievement for it. Having a blast playing it... hopefully you scored a copy. Good stuff!

If you like the genre, it doesn't get any better than Total War: SHOGUN 2.

I really expected better sales on newer or less lauded titles. I can't even believe games like Savage II never went on sale. Given that it is a license, but still.

Either way, my total is now up to $140. Almost everything on Sale I already own. :S

not quite everything, but i do own a lot of the games i've been buying from Steam just for the sole reason i'm trying to get rid of about 1/2 of my physical copies and just have them on Steam instead. some game i'll just have double copies cuz i like the box and it's contents, but i'll still have it on Steam anyway due to i want all my games on there in the first place.

i came REALLY close to buying the Fallout 3: New Vegas and all 6 DLC for $17, but failed to do so. i'm waiting for the Ultimate Edition to come out and get it on sale late next year. i haven't even played FO3 yet anyway, so it's no big deal.
