Android prevent closing app

Anyone know how to prevent apps closing in android gingerbread that are running in background?

Zdbox can "protect" some apps so they can't be closed when other memory management software or the OS itself does.

Thanks will give it a go and report back to you, my transfers stop when screen goes off. This could also be that for some reason the wifi slows down when screen is off but I've enabled the setting to keep it enabled when screen off but don't think it works

the app sort of works, but is a bit bloaty for me, i just needed the app protector from closing but this tool has many options which i dont use, will report if i find app that does that only.
