All I get is this, suggesting a permanent shutdown... but they're known to have pulled similar pranks before.

We'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, I recommend 1337x, LimeTorrents and TPB as alternatives. As usual, beware of bogus sites using the TorrentGalaxy name to deliver malware or fish for login credentials.

TorrentFreak has already done an article on this, but they basically know as much as we do.
