No interest in watching it as I assume an action movie that doesn't even have enough good bits to make a 30 second commercial promoting it interesting is going to suck and not in good way.

Personally even though the genre has been done to death,I'd have preferred del Toro had made a movie based on his The Strain.
Having said that ~~while looking up how to spell Guillermo~~ I see that they're making a TV movie out of it which sort of reinforces a point some author made about all the better stuff currently going to cable TV(Breaking Bad,GoT,Homeland etc) and all the schoolboy stuff going to movies.A direct reversal of how things use to be and an indication that adults basically stay in now and that George Lucas needs to be shot .

Almost watched that last night as well. Ended up with the new Star Trek movie instead. Iz aight. Plot is a bit of a stretch, even for Star Trek.
