    Does anyone know how to remove Compaq Softpaqs - the little patches that Compaq posts on its site to correct errors that may arise form time to time .... kinda like the patches from Windows Update

    I dl'ed one so that my "Help & Support" would work after I upgraded from Windows Me to Xp ... Problem is that it doesn't work too well and it's best if I remove it ...

    There is no uninstall option and no info on removing it on their site .... no luck finding info anywhere else on the web either ...

    Anybody who can help me?

    Uncertain that the Softpaqs are removable as they embed into the system and not install as a normal Win98/XP type update does. I suggest you email Compaq support and see what they suggest.
