Thread: Enough Watt?

    Hi guys, I hav 1 300 W whatever you call it, 2 40gb harddrives, a geforce 4mx 440, a networkcard, a tvcard, 2 cdrom drives and a athlonxp 1800+! Is the 300w enough or should I buy a better one??

    if its a high quality 300w psu, you shouldnt have too many problems, if i had poor disk writes/ constant rebooting id be worried

    if you've got the money go buy a high quality psu, with dual fans

    if your computer restarts for no reason or you have problems with optical drives (cd-r, cd-rw, dvd-r etc)

    nope i don`t have those problems.....but I also only just built in the other HDD the rest of teh system has been working perfect since I have it

    check your voltages also, if they are too low you could be havin silent problems
