I like this sort of "piece offering" (sic) which allows people to try the software before buying, or pirating. I am thinking about sending this link to my father-in-law who is a flight/aviation aficionado. If he were to enjoy it, I could easily see a Micro$oft flight-style joystick and/or add-on packs come the next gift-giving occasion. Without this "free" offer, it wouldn't have even come across my "radar" (puns always intentional).

Bottom line, it's smart and doesn't insult me as a consumer.
