lovely stories there matee....

Firstly, I came from New Zealand where the most dangerous things were the drunks leaving the pubs on a Saturday nite ... so in a sense I was sheltered from the dangers of Oz.

Spiders the most dangerous???.... hell they don&#39;t even have an anti-venom for Redbacks anymore cos you&#39;d have to be bit by a few to kill an adult... the snakes are by far the worse things in this country&#33;&#33;&#33;

We learn to check the shoes left outside for spiders, and they were only ever under the toilet seat in the old outhouses... but now we have them new fangdangled flush jobs in the house... so much easier&#33;&#33;

The snakes are there in force tho... our cat has had the misfortune to play with a brown snake.... she spent 3 days on a drip and for some funny reason doesn&#39;t play with snakes anymore.


I do have to agree with not asking for directions tho..... they&#39;d probly send ya in the opposite direction just for a laugh over here.....
