    what is longhorn, i know its an OS but i havnt heard much about it except on warez sites. is it for businesses?

    Simply put its the next Windows OS from Microsoft due for release in 2005 (I think its an improvment on XP as opposed to Windows server 2003).

    I think they're betas (they are definitely pre release). I would avoid them if you simply want a working desktop thats stable. The releases run o.k but still have alot of problems with them and would need alot of effort and knowledge to use feasibly.
