Computer Game Burning Problem

Ok I own a game that is fairly new. I just want to copy it as a backup incase i scratch my game cd. I get an error message at 97% complete, that there is an error. Im using a 700 mb cd and adaptec CD burner program. Do I need a different program? why isnt it letting me copy the cd? Suggestions?

It does give the error. I cant remember it off the top of my head. And I dont really feel like wasting another blank CD unless you think its neccessary to helping you help me =)

Oh, as a side note. My girlfriends computer has 3 trojans detected by norton anti-virus and by another program i downloaded for her. However, it locates them but says it cannot remove them or quarantine them. How should I go about helping her?

about the burning problem, without the error, I can't tell you what to do. How many times did you try this? what speed were you burning at? could be any amount of problems.

and run a search, will give you detailed instuctions on what to do

with most newer games they are copy protected.i use clonyxxl and clonecd.clonyxxl will check for type of copy protection used.always use copy to hard drive under options of your copy program.clonyxxl and clonecd can be found on kazaalite.just do a search.for trojans i use trojan remover it does good.

I went ahead and used the Trojan Remover problem, got all the updates for it. It didnt detect the trojan that my other program did. Its in my registry and has opened a backdoor. Pretty annoying. Its in "_RESORE/mirc57923457902357" (made the numbers up but its something like that).

I will see if I can get that cd copying stuff off kazaa. thanks
