Have I Got Wierd Hands?

I've discovered that I can't hold my hand out perfectly straight and then bend my thumb like in this picture. My fingers just curl in like a claw. Anyhow I was wondering if I was the only person who can't do this or if there are others out there like me. Or if anyone knows if there are any exercises I can do to "train" my hand?
