Yeehaw Shifty, that's some hardware! I've been mulling over various upgrades to my Dell 4500(40 gig hard, 1.9 @256, soundblaster card, XP home, cheesy 13" Seiko monitor, CD-RW- all tied into home entertainment center). Future upgrades: New 17" monitor (suggestions?), Iomega outboard hard (80 or 120 gig backup or storage- anyone have one?), some form of DVD drive.....any feedback from posters welcome... B)

    Ok
i found that the Pioneer DVD Roms are the most reliable
and ive never had any problems with myne
as for monitors these days you can get i think it's 21"
i'd go for one of those in Olympic Flat screen or flatron they're
a little xy (expensive) though. but yea Olympic are the best in my eyes
and the 17" are pretty nice too i guess but you get used to them and
want something bigger after a while. as for outborad HDD's biggest i have seen
was a 30GB that fits in the palm of your hand looked really nice but $400.
and i havent really looked anywhere else i wanted one a fair while ago and
havent yet needed one. coz i used to do TAFE where they have a fibre Optics
connection and wanted some space to store the stuff i download from there
yea those were the days when we were suposed to be doing work
we were really off in the corner downloading and downloading. all the youngens
i'm 16 now and i was 14 then i have certificate 2 & 3 in IT now so im happy with that
for only being 16. i wouldnt mind upgrading some of my rig i want to add :

    a DVD Writer.
    21" flatron.
biggest dang HDD in the land
    Sattelite Connection
    128MB Video card.

and thats about all i need for my beast at the moment.
