I can tell that, you also have cupboards you don't like opening don't you? Because of all the dead or almost dead, and frustrating electronic things hiding in those cupboards. You can't throw them out, you paid good money for the bloody things, so they can just sit there in splendid isolation, fuck them, you didn't need to freeze dry those apricots anyway.![]()

A stupid kitchen device sold here a couple of years ago was this fruit dessicator, you placed rings of fruit on it and it freeze dried them (telly promotion, friends bought one, we tried the results, tasted truly diabolical), it had to come from somewhere overseas, most horrible inventions like that come from the U.K. or Canada, you had a 50/50 chance of being the perpetrators.![]()

Even if it was a UK invention, there is little chance of me having heard of it.
Kitchen innovations are a strictly female domain.
Unless it's a fridge. I could probably write a paragraph or two about my fridge.
Since the UK hasn't been responsible for inventing anything since about 1876 then I would suggest that it probably comes from China or Taiwan...
If I were a Trader, and I thank the maker that I'm not, I would point blank refuse to trade with anyone who posts total shite to get access to a trading forum. Fact.
I don't have any technology I don't use hactually. I never buy any innovation until it's been out for at least 5 years (so all the technowhores can buy them first and iron out all the blips for me), and when I do buy something it's because I can see a proper need for it in my life and then I thoroughly research using a consumer reviewer I pay a subscription for.
The one anomaly is my fucking phone, which I had to buy to replace my beautiful HTC that got stolen in a pub in Camden 3 months into a 24 month contract and that I couldn't afford to replace like-for-like
And the sauce stirrer in the cupboard in my kitchen which would be very useful indeed if it didn't splash sauce everywhere even on the lowest setting![]()
