As far as I have understood the dyn IP trick all your uploads and downloads are going through a fixed IP and are re-directed to the actual IP of the (Kazaa) user. The Non-IP DUC utility will always send your correct IP to a central server.

That means:

With this trick it`s very easy for the MI to track a Kazaa user at any place of the world with all his dl and ul activities. The MI and of course the company providing the dyn IP service can read all the transferred content.

If you only send and receive non-copyrighted materials everything except your privacy may work fine...

So please do keep in mind what you are doing if you connect to a client pc which is using the dyn IP trick!

Edit: Typos

Im sorry to say, but you didn't understand it. It seems that you never tested / used it, right ?

Please read the text carefully ! (Im sorry for my english, needs to be trained , I know) :

The Dynamic IP is not a trick, or magic or something.
Its a helpful technic. Btw: If anyone is risking something then I am this one.
My Dynamic IP or the www.no-ip.com service cannot track/harm KaZaA-users who use my Dynamic IP for a
Supernode-Jump.

Ok , this is a "babysteps"-guide!!! to jump using a known dynamic ip.:

KaZuperNodes is the tool for the Jump. You risk nothing by do the following:

In KaZuperNodes type in (or copy and past) my dynamic ip: globalaballa.no-ip.com:1214

Then klick the OnlineStatus Button !

KaZuperNodes ask now my Dynamic IP for the KaZaA-Infos (with port1214): UserName, Status (client or Supernode).

Normaly the result is Globalaballa and Status Client. Because you cannot "jump" on clients KaZuperNode
is aktivating the Show SuperNode-Button (which is greyed before)

Klick the Show SuperNode-Button !

KaZuperNodes ask now for the Infos of Supernode that Im actual connected. UserName and IP.

To get the location of my SN , simply copy the IP and paste them here:

http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm

Btw: this site will also show you , your IP and your Location. You can see that the IP is not secret and your

location too.

The location of my SuperNode should be: Saint Louis, Missouri, US if "to stay on SN" still works.

Ok , from here you decide if you like using the chance to jump to my SN or simply continuing the "observation"

of my actual Supernode.

Doing the Jump:

Klick the Use-SN-Button (the SN-list will show only this one)

and restart KaZaA / KaZaA-Lite with this button !

If the jump is succesful you will reach my SuperNode.

Please understand that you will not be connected to my IP / PC and also not connected to the no-ip service !

The new Supernode give's your KaZaA and your KaZuperNodes a new SN-list / contact-list.

Check out the new list with the OnlineStatus Button !

Now you can jump around if you like to the new SN's... and has nothing more to do with me or my dyn-ip or the service.

A little add:

If you know Direct Connect DC or DC++ you know that is based on Servers/Hub's.
Most of the Hub-owners use Dynamic IP's / Dynamic IP-services , like www.no-ip.com.

If your right with this:

The MI and of course the company providing the dyn IP service can read all the transferred content.
why the dont catch the Hub-owners and close/kill DC and DC++ ???

If your right a filesharingnetwork like DirectConnect will never excist !!!

www.no-ip.com is only a simple dynamic DNS service.

It only does one thing: it gives you always the current IP of Globalaballa.

Then KaZuperNodes uses this IP like any other.

NO data transfers are going through any servers of no-ip.com.

Kazaa always makes a direct p2p connection.

Being a guide in trip auround the word is nice but how about being a guide in the world of music and movies?

Why not set up Dynamic IP's like
• movies.no-ip.com
• r&b.no-ip.com
• hiphop.no-ip.com

This way you could easily lay your hands on the stuff you want.

How about fasttrackmovies.no-ip.com as a guide to make all their sig2dat links work?

This supernodeselecting could be the best thing that ever happened to the FastTracknetwork.

Am I thick, or what? Although I have had some success - suddenly I found myself in Israel!

The silly question - Does the global IP address HAVE to be

globalaballa.no-ip.com:1214 or should it be something individual?

I registered as lerosbif.no-ip.info (no :1214 - will that do?
