Internet Explorer Hangs Before Opening Pages

I had IE5 so I got IE6 and it still happens, before it opens pages it will hang for like 10 seconds, this has just started happening, it seems to happen most when kazaa lite runs, does anyone know what this is?

i have the same problem i think it is just trying to download some of the page to show but kazaa might be hogging all your bandwidth.

I thought it was kazaa hogging things. Is yours like it will work for like 5 mins at full speed then it will hang and then work again, it's a pain in the ass.

no never had any real problem with kazaa hanging. maybe if i leave it for ages and go back it takes a while to open.

This is strange, it's never happend before, but now it seems perminant. Pages open in a blink of an eye normally.
