I.e. nfodb is a black hole. Though not explicitly stated, I implied editing in the tech specs field. Since an nfo file is just text, nothing prevents copying and pasting that into the tech spec field. I don't mind, but do I have to do all the thinking here?
When a user uploads, he/she can do that. But we still have upload bots that upload most of the proper/repack torrents with no .nfo.

You can go add the info from .nfo files to tech specs in those uploads if you want. You can quit your day job, since your time will be well spend following the upload bots. I would prefer they just fix the .nfo field to actually work and saving everyone the headache of having to find the exact same thing elsewhere.

i don't know, it might be because it only takes a sfv check to figure out if a release is legit.

Really, just one person to go an check out all of the scene torrents? Since anyone can edit the torrent info (or maybe not, I don't know if it's class locked), why not just anyone who gives a shit about that particular scene release take up that small task? Wouldn't that be something inherent in a private community? I just tested it, it's rather easy.

Also, most of those kids don't have jobs, you have a skewed view of p2p. But since you think it falls in the domain of one person, and this is apparently very important to you, why don't you do that? By yourself as well. You can be the official NFO input guy, making sure everyone is getting the proper information they need for scene releases.

"And when asked by the customer in the Bed and Bath section of Walmart as to where to find a good toilet Stabber responded by saying " I've found the ones at NORAD's underground facility at Colorado Springs to be top-notch".

Which is weird because the customer was looking for a toilet to buy.
