There even a stand alone one, which doesn't need to be installed or owt. Just put it on the USB and then do something else.

Definitely affects my boot times on the laptop, so probably.

I've not really noticed anything with the other drives, in fact I was impressed with how smooth it was working despite three layers of encryption, but that computer is somewhat not-slow to begin with.
