Whats A Good Mobo For The Future?

I am thinking of buying a Pentium 4-2.6C what would be a good mobo to go with this.

This will be my first pc I build, and I am trying to get the most bang for the buck. I am a gamer but would like to stick with an Intel CPU.

The p4 has been around for a while so it would be nice if this mobo would be able to handle potential upgrades down the road.

I am not a Intel guy ( but I play one on TV), so I have no first hand knowlege or recommendations.

This site looked interesting, and informative, if maybe just a trifle old.

You may get some ideas at any rate.
