trying to install Mountain lion

hi guys I have successfully installed mountain lion onto two imac so far with the same bootable usb pendrive but I had to put a new 500 gig HDD into another Imac now these three imacs are all same specs apart from the Hdd first 2 had 250gig and the third one I am working on has a new 500gig and when I try to install I get the error failed to download additional components its hookup to the net and idewas woul;d be greatful

Did you format your new drive before you started. You can do that with disk util before you start your install.

yea used disk utlity and used to proper file structure aswell its doing head in UPDATE all fixed it was the HDD for some reason it didn't like the new WD Green Power HDD something to do with the new smart technology
