    there is no such a thing like a virus-free OS. That would mean that the OS wouldn't run any programs because a virus is a program or it would have paranoicly restrictive security levels. Windows has more viruses pecaus it is a more popular OS in combination with a fact that it is more susceptible to viruses.

    I'd like it to be true
    But my mac has been stable for so long it might break the monotony. Seriously we have intel in our macs now, so it's inevitable.

    It doesn't matter it's intel or something else. As I said, if a sysstem is able to run programs, it's already possible to have viruses.

    Funny I'm running windows 7 and haven't been ever infected by virus or other kinds of malware.

    I have a 2 Windows 7 machine, 1 XP machine and 2 Linux boxes, one running pinguy, the other on Ubuntu. I have no AV or anti-malware/spyware and NEVER got a virus regardless of where I go. Porn sites or not. Apple just takes advantage of people's ignorance.
