Thread: Tmpgenc?

    ok i was told to use this to convert files to dvd ok...it converts fine but i guess im too much of a noob...i dont know how to get the audio and mpeg together...if any1 has any suggestions or maybe a link for me to check out...it has to be 1 damn setting...so thank you for reading this and thx for your help.

    .wmv .avi are the 1ns ive been playing with....i can convert i have cucusoft but tmpgenc has more options and i can choose how big to make it.

    Have a guide site, you type in what you have and what you want with what software you would like to use to decode.

    I thought, that if you've downloaded an avi-file you only have to put the audio in a wav-file. And later you need it to make a vdr-file with virtualdub and set up a frameserver and things.
    but if you have a mpeg-file the audio is already included, right?

    No, audio is already included in .avi's too. U sometimes have to extract the audio when encoding it.
